This August 16, Stumptown Coffee will be screening the film, The Flower of Flowers, at its Carondelet location in the Ace Hotel. The screening starts at 7 pm. The following description came to us from Stumptown:
The Flower of Flowers film created by Stumptown Coffee and Farm League and highlights the impact that climate change has by uniquely showcasing one of Stumptown’s longest running direct trade relationships in Guatemala. The film features a pair of ethically driven skateboarders and a Portland artist who guide the the audience’s experience of the film through a lens of adventure and connectivity and how those in the region are collaborating in earnest to make an agricultural commodity with care to benefit the environment we all share.
The event fill feature live music from local Latin musicians, complimentary beer (Urban South, Nola Brewing) and single origin Bella Vista coffee.
